Invisible Lily

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune demyelinating and neurodegenerative disease of the central nervous system and one of the leading causes of non-traumatic neurological disability in young people. 

Due to the complexity of the disease, many patients were misdiagnosed. Delayed treatment leads to worsening of the disease, affecting their ability to live. The incidence of MS varies in different parts of the world. The MS prevalence in Asian countries is considered lower than in Western countries, and it is listed as a rare disease in China. Related organisations sometimes hold events to popularize relevant knowledge, but most followers are related groups, so the public's understanding of MS is still insufficient.

As an interactive medium, video games allow players to immerse themselves in the experiences of characters, thereby stimulates empathy to a certain extent. 

“Invisible Lily” is a 2D platformer game prototype combined with special game environment and element design, focusing on the typical symptoms of MS patients in terms of vision and movement problems, aiming to allow players to understand the experience of MS patients during the game interaction process.
